The Artist & Educator

I am Dilshani Wettasinghe, a professional Cake Artist, Sugar Artist, and Educator from Sri Lanka with over 12 years of industry experience. I have been actively working in the cake and sugar craft industry since 2012, specializing in sugar flowers, royal icing, and advanced decorative techniques. My work has received more than 15 national and international awards, reflecting consistent professional achievement and technical expertise.

I hold internationally recognized certifications, including the PME 5-Star Sugar Artist qualification (United Kingdom). I am the Founder and Lead Instructor of the Cake & Sugar Craft Academy, where I design and deliver structured training programs for students at beginner, intermediate, and competition-preparation level. My professional work has been featured in Cake Collaborator Magazine and American Cake Decorator Magazine (USA).

Alongside practical work, I have extensive experience in curriculum development, student mentoring, and skills-based training, aligning my teaching with international standards. My long-term professional objective is to continue contributing to the industry as an educator and mentor.
